Covid Policy (UPDATED 11/10/22): In an effort to keep the IPRC community safe, masks and proof of vaccination (including a booster) are required when visiting the center. Additionally, we ask that you refrain from visiting the center if you have been recently exposed to someone with COVID-19. Do not visit the center if you feel sick at all. You may email jakelen@iprc.org for any questions regarding the IPRC's COVID-19 Policies.
Vaccine Policy (UPDATED 11/10/22): In an effort to keep the IPRC community safe, we ask that all members, volunteers, workshop participants and visitors provide proof of full vaccination against COVID-19. At this time, at least one additional booster is required. Bivalent boosters are not required, but are highly encouraged and recommended. Proof of vaccination may be uploaded when reserving an appointment. Medical exemptions may be made on a case by case basis (email jakelen@iprc.org).
ACCESS: The IPRC offers by-appointment hours Monday through Saturday. Be sure to reserve enough time for your project, as we cannot guarantee capacity beyond your appointment time. We can sometimes accommodate for same-day and last minute appointments. Please call the center ahead of time to ask about availability. Email jakelen@iprc.org for any questions regarding appointment scheduling or studio access.
Membership is not required to visit the center. We encourage non-members to ask about our donation-based daily and hourly rates. If it is your first time visiting the center, please schedule a Studio Tour/Orientation before requesting a studio appointment. Email eao@iprc.org for any questions about membership.
PRINT STUDIOS: Completion of our Introductory Printmaking workshops is required for access to the IPRC’s risograph, screenprinting & letterpress print studios. If you have not completed a workshop but have equivalent experience, email jakelen@iprc.org to gain access and to arrange an orientation.
Our mission is to provide affordable access to space, tools, and resources for creating independently published media and artwork, and to build community and identity through the creation of written and visual art. Everything the IPRC does is on a sliding scale, no one turned away for lack of funds.
